HUMMINGCOMM CORPORATION in Teresa, Rizal province, is seeking an underground rail transport operator to move workers and materials inside tunnels. You will ensure safe operation, perform routine inspections, and follow tunnel traffic procedures to maintain project safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2–3 years of experience with rail-mounted transport systems, and knowledge of load handling, inspections, and emergency procedures.

Formación

• At least a high school graduate; vocational training is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience operating rail-mounted transport equipment or underground mine trains.
• Experience in tunneling, mining, or underground construction is advantageous.
• Knowledgeable in operation, load handling and pre-operation inspections.
• Trained in equipment-specific operation and safety procedures; certification is an advantage.
• Physically fit for underground tunnel environments and emergencies.
• Able to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and respond to emergencies.
• Experience operating small trains or rail-mounted transport systems in tunnels.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the small train safely to move personnel, materials, and equipment inside the tunnel.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and check brakes, lights, signals, and safety devices.
• Follow designated routes, speed limits, and tunnel traffic procedures.
• Ensure loads are secured and within capacity.
• Coordinate with tunnel supervisors and ground personnel during transport.
• Monitor track conditions and report obstructions, defects, or unsafe conditions.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine operator maintenance as authorized.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions and incidents.
• Maintain equipment operation logs and inspection records.
• Comply with tunnel emergency procedures, PPE requirements, and HSE policies.
