Job summary

Light Rail Manila Corporation is seeking an experienced train operator to safely drive trains on the LRT-1 Mainline and Depot. You will ensure adherence to timetables, perform pre-departure checks, and support safe passenger service across shift work in Pasay.

The role requires at least 2 years of driving experience with a Professional Philippine license and a post-secondary diploma. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating with controllers and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in practical experience in vehicle driving with valid Philippine license (Professional).
• Ideally a holder of a higher diploma of post-secondary education in a related discipline.
• Good literacy and analytical skills required for the role.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate / drive trains in Mainline & Depot following timetable schedules and handover procedures.
• Carry out train preparation activities per safety procedures and work instructions.
• Contribute to achieving contractual target KPI.
• Announce safety reminders and station names to passengers onboard.
• Coordinate with Traffic/Depot Controller and Yard Master on train insertion/removal.
• Assist passengers during evacuations and follow safety procedures.
• Report incidents affecting safety and service performance to controllers and supervisors.
• Generate daily train operations reports.
