Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking a Consultant – Maintenance (UG Load and Haul) to oversee underground mobile equipment maintenance with a focus on Sandvik trucks and loaders. The role requires inspecting, servicing and repairing equipment to meet reliability targets, and developing local technicians to enhance technical capacity.

You will report to the Superintendent – Maintenance (UG Mobile) and work at the Didipio Mine in the Philippines, supporting safe, compliant operations and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Education in heavy equipment mechanics or auto electrical trades or an engineering degree is required.
Experience with underground mining equipment and Sandvik trucks/loaders is essential.
Strong planning, problem solving and mentoring skills are expected.

Responsibilities

Execute underground mobile maintenance per plans and priorities.
Ensure work meets high quality and safety standards.
Follow maintenance plans and schedules to meet availability targets.
Provide feedback on work orders, PM sheets, and SOPs for accuracy.
