Job summary

Maxicare Health Care seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join its Primary Care team. You will operate ultrasound machines, ensure image quality, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate patient care.

Bachelor's in Radiologic Technology with PRC license is preferred; hands-on training is available. Rotation shifts with a 5‑day week, and a 1‑year employment bond may apply. PACS/Emedcore/Lifesys documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Radiologic Technology with PRC license (RRT or RXT).
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Basic understanding of ultrasound machine troubleshooting.
• Skilled in operating ultrasound equipment or willing to be trained.
• Capable of managing multiple patient cases professionally.
• Proficient in documentation and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and educate patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Perform a variety of ultrasound scans within turnaround targets.
• Ensure accuracy of patient history, image quality, and scan documentation.
• Operate ultrasound machines and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and OB Sonologists for results confirmation.
• Assist in special ultrasound procedures and manage scheduling or inquiries.
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and customer service standards.
• Record results in PACS, Emedcore, and Lifesys.
