Job summary

Intelligent Outsourcing in the Philippines is seeking a skilled UK Accountant with at least three years of experience to join our growing team. The role supports end-to-end accounting processes for UK clients, including payroll, VAT, and statutory filings, with flexible work setups depending on experience.

Candidates without UK accounting experience work onsite in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, while those with UK experience may work remote from anywhere in the Philippines; both paths demand strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, BrightPay or similar.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling multiple clients or multi-entity accounts.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory deductions, pensions, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, including financial analysis, KPIs, variance, and cash flow reporting.
• Lead year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and self-assessment returns.
• Prepare and review tax filings and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies when required.
• Identify process improvements and ensure data accuracy across all financial systems.
