Job summary

TRA Offshoring Solutions is seeking an Intermediate Tax Accountant to join as a permanent work-from-home role supporting clients with diverse industries. You will maintain ledgers, process payroll, handle tax obligations including BAS and GST, and contribute to process improvements while working remotely with a team based in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience, proficiency in MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Excel, and Teams, and a solid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial data integrity.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims efficiently.
• Manage payroll processing and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and financial reporting obligations.
• Conduct month-end and year-end financial closings.
• Identify opportunities for advisory work.
