Job summary

SVEN - The Digital 1st Agency is seeking an experienced UI/UX designer/front-end professional to translate client requirements into comprehensive UI/UX proposals and create wireframes, drafts, and prototypes. You will work with stakeholders to refine designs and ensure responsive, user-friendly interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.

The role involves coordinating with Product Owners and Developers, maintaining design guidelines, and contributing to knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, management, or related fields.
• A minimum of 1 year experience as a front-end developer or UI/UX designer.
• Highly skilled with Adobe XD and Figma; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work with them for acceptable solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fundamental technical, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• History of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
• History of leading and supporting successful projects.
• Willingness to work on-site if required, with flexibility to work from anywhere

Responsibilities

• Gathers client requirements and translates this to a comprehensive UI/UX proposal.
• Creates initial wireframe/draft mockups and collaborates with stakeholders to finalize the design.
• Develops UI/UX prototypes ensuring responsive, usable design working with the technical team.
• Understands and applies client brand guidelines to UI/UX, establishing design guidelines for cascading to developers and creatives.
• Coordinates with Product Owners and Development team for design inquiries and approvals.
• Updates the Knowledge Base with design guideline updates and client assets.
• Performs front-end QA to ensure delivery aligns with guidelines and deadlines.
• Supports pitches and new requirements with data-driven insights.
• Keeps abreast of new design standards and technologies for web and mobile app design.
• Empowers teammates through guidance and workshops; creates updated deck templates and visual presentations.
• Acts as a consultant for non-dev UI/UX requirements

DESIGN PROJECT SCOPING

• Gathers client requirements and translates this to a comprehensive UI/UX proposal.
• Creates initial wireframe/draft mockups and works with key stakeholders to complete the final design.
• Creates UI/UX Prototypes and implement responsible and responsive design logic, ensures UI/UX flow is complete, usable by users, and workable with the technical team

LEAD RESOURCE FOR UI/UX REQUIREMENTS

• Completely understand and grasp client brand guidelines and translate them to UI/UX
• Establish the design guidelines for projects that will be cascaded to developers and creatives.
• Coordinates with the Product Owner during the creative/design approval process
• Coordinates with the Creative for mockup creation
• Coordinates with the Development Team (Product Owners, Developers) for design inquiries and clarifications.
• Updates the Knowledge Base System for any updates on design guidelines and client assets.
• Front-end QA and validation that the design guidelines are met. Ensures delivery of designs are submitted on time to avoid delays to the projects

DESIGN INSIGHTS

• Works with the accounts team for pitches and new requirements
• Seeks out data-driven trends and identifies key consumer insights to shape the team’s technical design strategy.
• Constantly strives to deepen understanding of new design standards and technologies to stay attuned to what’s new and what’s possible especially in web and mobile app design.

TEAM COLLABORATION

• Empowers teammates (Product Owners, Developers, Creatives) especially on design trends and limitations through guidance or workshops
• Helps create and improve deck templates for visual presentations.
• Acts as a consultant for non-dev, UI/UX requirements

Requirements
