Job summary

Google Operations Center seeks a seasoned UI/UX Platform Lead to drive design maintenance, scale design systems, and enforce consistency across enterprise tools and AI platforms. You will shield sprints from BAU disruptions while upholding a high-quality UI standard across the full application suite.

The role requires 10+ years in UI/UX, a strong background in design systems, and global stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Multimedia Arts, CS, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, platform maintenance, or design system management.
• Experience managing centralized enterprise design systems and component libraries.
• Demonstrated experience handling rapid-turnaround UI updates, platform support tickets, or fast-paced design enhancements.
• Global Stakeholder engagement experience required for cross collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing platform design maintenance and execute fast-turnaround UI enhancements to support BAU needs.
• Maintain, scale, and enforce design system standards across all GOC enterprise tools and AI platforms to ensure UI consistency.
• Insulate core engineering and product development sprints by rapidly addressing operational design updates, bug fixes, and minor workflow tweaks.
• Establish feedback mechanisms with regional operations to identify daily UI/UX friction and rapidly translate user needs into refined components.
• Standardize platform support workflows by creating reusable UI assets, design documentation, and design component specs.
