Lightfury Games is a next-generation AAA game studio advancing an unannounced IP powered by Unreal Engine. We seek a Senior UI Artist to define the UI vision and lead a team of UI artists, collaborating with UX, engineering, and game design to deliver stunning, responsive interfaces.

You will craft HUDs, menus, icons, and feedback systems, ensuring visual consistency across platforms. Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and After Effects are essential.

Qualifications

Lightfury Games is a next-generation AAA game studio focused on crafting genre-defining experiences. We're currently developing an ambitious unannounced IP powered by Unreal Engine. Our mission is to blend cutting-edge visuals with intuitive design to create unforgettable gameplay for players around the world.

Role Overview:

We're looking for an Senior UI Artist to define and drive the user interface vision for our AAA title. You'll be responsible for crafting beautiful, intuitive, and responsive UI systems that elevate the player experience. As a team leader, you will also guide and mentor other UI artists while collaborating closely with UX, engineering, and game design teams to bring your ideas to life in Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creative Direction & Execution:
• Own the visual language of all in-game UI, from HUDs and menus to icons and feedback systems. Ensure style consistency across platforms and screens.
• UI Design & Asset Creation:
• Create high-quality UI assets including layouts, buttons, icons, and motion graphics using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Implementation & Integration:
• Work with engineers and tech artists to integrate UI into Unreal Engine using UMG and Blueprint workflows. Ensure assets are optimized and functional across devices.
• Partner with UX designers, gameplay designers, and engineers to prototype, iterate, and refine interfaces that are both functional and visually stunning.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in UI/UX or UI art roles within the game industry.
• At least one shipped title (preferably AAA).
• Design Tools Expertise:Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, iconography, and color theory.
• Basic motion design and UI animation skills.
• Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with UI systems in Unreal Engine (UMG, Blueprints).
• Understanding of real-time implementation constraints and optimization techniques.
• Collaboration & Communication:Ability to clearly present ideas, take feedback constructively, and work cross-functionally with tech and design teams.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience on AAA games.
• Strong understanding of platform-specific UI needs (console, PC, mobile).
• Interest in usability testing, accessibility, and data-driven UI decisions.
