Job summary

ALIN CARGO EXPRESS CORPORATION in Paranaque/Metro Manila is seeking a diligent delivery driver to safely operate a company vehicle and transport cargo to various destinations. You will ensure cargo is loaded securely, perform vehicle inspections, and adhere to schedules and routes to meet delivery times.

The role requires careful paperwork handling, courteous communication with customers and staff, and strict compliance with traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned truck or delivery vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport and deliver cargo, goods, and materials to designated customers, branches, warehouses, or other locations.
• Ensure that cargo is properly loaded, secured, and protected during transportation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and report any defects, damages, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Ensure the timely departure and arrival of deliveries based on the assigned schedule.
• Verify delivery documents, cargo quantities, and other required paperwork before and after each trip.
• Obtain and submit signed delivery receipts, acknowledgment receipts, and other required documents.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow designated routes and observe company procedures regarding fuel, parking, tolls, and other trip-related requirements.
• Immediately report accidents, delays, vehicle breakdowns, cargo damage, or other incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure the safety and security of the cargo, vehicle, and other company property while in transit.
• Maintain proper and courteous communication with customers, warehouse personnel, dispatchers, and other company employees.
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and properly handle customer and company documents.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
