Job description

Driving: Operate delivery trucks to transport goods in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring all products are securely packed and transported.

Route Planning: Plan delivery routes in the most efficient manner, taking into account delivery windows, traffic conditions, and customer needs.

Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with customers to confirm delivery details, provide updates, and handle any special requests or concerns.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any maintenance issues.

Paperwork: Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records, including delivery receipts, inspection reports, and inventory records.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of equipment, secure loading practices, and handling hazardous materials (if applicable).

Inventory Management: Assist in stock control and ensure all deliveries are completed according to schedule and in proper condition.
