Job description

We are hiring a skilled and safety-conscious Trailer Truck Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks for long-haul or regional deliveries. The role requires strict adherence to traffic laws, cargo handling protocols, and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate trailer trucks to transport goods between warehouses, ports, and customer locations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
  • Implement safety measures toprevent cargo-related incidents
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules, adjusting for traffic or weather conditions
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel records, and trip documentation
  • Report mechanical issues, delays, or incidents to Operations Head
  • Comply with all traffic laws, DENR transport regulations (if applicable), and company policies
  • Assist with loading/unloading when required, especially for time-sensitive deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck and trailer unit
Qualifications
  • Valid professional driver’s license (Restriction 8 or equivalent for articulated vehicles)
  • At least 2–3 years of experience operating trailer trucks or articulated vehicles
  • Familiarity with regional and national delivery routes, including port protocols (if applicable)
  • Physically fit and capable of handling long hours and heavy loads
  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and road safety awareness
  • No history of major traffic violations or criminal record
  • Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage
