Job summary

Soundemick Audio Visual Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated truck dispatcher to coordinate freight shipping operations in a fast-paced environment. You will schedule drivers, plan routes, and manage customer communications to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include load assignments, GPS tracking, POD management, and resolving operational issues. The role requires a degree preference and at least two years of dispatch or transportation ops experience, plus strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Logistics preferred.
• 2 years of experience as a truck dispatcher or in transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routes, and freight documentation.
• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple drivers and loads.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).

Responsibilities

• Schedule, dispatch, and monitor trucks and drivers for daily operations.
• Assign loads based on driver availability, equipment type, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, pickup and delivery instructions, and delays.
• Track truck movements using GPS or tracking systems.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, brokers, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
• Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) collection and submission.
• Handle route planning and optimize truck utilization.
• Address and resolve operational issues such as breakdowns, delays, or accidents.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and reports.
