Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking an Associate to support daily Triparty Collateral Management operations, including trade matching, collateral allocation/substitution, liquidity monitoring, reconciliations, and issue resolution. You will work with Front Office and other stakeholders to ensure accurate end-of-day processing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in US triparty collateral management, securities settlements, or related operations.
• Knowledge of financial markets and products; proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure triparty processing and settlement through the BNY Mellon AccessEdge system.
• Monitor timely trade matching through BNY Mellon systems and follow up on exceptions.
• Partner with Front Office to escalate unmatched trades and trade discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor and process GCF Repo transactions; process DTCC collateral pledges; ensure liquidity for settlements; calculate end-of-day collateral needs and daily interest payments.
• Reconcile and balance triparty positions between Front Office and Back Office systems.
• Research and resolve rate discrepancies and operational breaks.
