Job summary

GCash in the Philippines seeks an experienced IT Project Leader to drive complex product development initiatives within a FinTech context. You will partner with Business, Product, Design and Vendor teams to ensure initiatives pass feasibility analyses and align with strategic roadmaps.

The role requires strong Agile delivery experience, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise architecture familiarity to design scalable solutions and drive successful releases in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex project and product development.
• Experience in managing agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.
• Experience managing resources with different skill sets for agile delivery methods.
• Experience working with diverse business and IT teams.
• Experience in Enterprise Architecture / Solutions Architecture or related function, capable of product design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial performance and coordinate across functions to meet on-time, on-budget objectives.
• Advise on feasibility, MVP decomposition, release planning, and solution options.
• Oversee ideation and scoping with Business, Product, Designers, and Vendors to ensure feasibility analysis and capacity planning.
• Monitor, track, and report performance across Ideation, Scoping, Development and Delivery against initiatives and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with PMO and Agile coaches to align practices with the Tribe’s delivery model.

Who You’ll Be Working With

If you have a strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering, and are analytical, technologically savvy, solutions and process-focused, then the Technology & Operations team may be for you!

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Accountable for managing project financial performance; coordinating efforts of a variety of functional areas to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget to achieve product plan objectives.
• Act as a trusted business partner in terms of advising them on the upcoming initiatives with respect to feasibility, decomposition into MVP, release planning, solution options, capacity utilization, etc.
• Tribe Backlog and Capacity Management: Manage the Ideation and Scoping process closely with Business and Product owners, Solution Designers and Vendor to ensure that business initiatives in pipeline undergo proper feasibility analysis, scoping and release planning having considered business priorities and tribe capacity including any scalability considerations.
• Work and collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to monitor, track and report performance across stages of Ideation, Scoping, Development and Delivery against strategic initiatives, prioritization, road-mapping, execution alignment, agreed process and metrics.
• Work closely with PMO, Practices/Agile coaches for adoption of best practices and aligning the Agile Tribe practices accordingly.
