Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila is seeking an Associate Treasury Officer to analyze, develop, and maintain treasury applications, and to provide IT systems support for treasury operations. You will work in the Treasury Quantitative Analysis Unit, design end-to-end solutions, build financial models, and collaborate across teams on data, BI reports, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, banking, finance or related field.
• At least 5 years IT work experience in international banking operations, practices, and systems implementation; exposure to investment or borrowing operations.
• Experience with relational databases, such as Oracle and SQL Server, Microsoft ODBC, and Microsoft ActiveX Data Object.
• Experience in C++ or C# and Python
• Experience of treasury core applications at functional levels.
• Sound knowledge of treasury operations covering areas such as financial markets, pricing of derivative instruments, market data, and trade life cycle.
• Experience working with data management and BI reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau an advantage.
• Written and verbal proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Treasury applications to support business operations and strategic initiatives, including system integrations.
• Provide end-to-end product lifecycle support for Treasury Department systems, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support, STP, and credit limits.
• Collaborate with other team members to understand how automation can improve workflow and propose ideas and solutions.
• Contribute to ADB-wide projects such as business continuity, IT Security, and other IT projects.
• Develop financial models covering debt allocation, transfer pricing, cost of carry, liability management, and investment portfolio performance.
• Develop Asset and Liability Management dashboard reports using business intelligence reporting tools.
