About the Role
We are seeking a full‑time Treasury Specialist responsible for day‑to‑day management of cash position, banking operations, collections, disbursements, and financial compliance. The role ensures all treasury transactions are processed accurately and on time, in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash position across all bank accounts and funds.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily cash position reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and variance analyses.
- Identify cash surpluses or shortfalls and elevate to management as needed.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for day‑to‑day operational requirements.
- Process and monitor all bank transactions including fund transfers and payments.
- Coordinate with banks for account maintenance, concerns, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all bank deposits and reconcile with internal reports.
- Manage time deposits, placements, and rollover schedules in coordination with management.
- Liaise with bank relationship managers for operational and documentation requirements.
- Manage and replenish petty cash fund with complete and proper documentation.
- Process disbursement requests in accordance with company policy and ensure supporting documents are complete.
- Monitor and clear accounts receivable balances within the collection cycle.
- Reconcile AR ledger with actual collections, flag long‑outstanding items and coordinate with Billing Team to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and complete treasury records and transaction filing.
- Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal financial controls and policies.
- Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audit requirements.
- Monitor and fulfill reportorial obligations to BIR, BSP, and other regulatory bodies.
- Update and maintain treasury procedures and process documentation as needed.
- Coordinate with Billing Team on collection status, AR clearing, and reconciliation.
- Provide treasury data and reports to Accounting Team as required.
- Support Operations Team in facilitating cash advance and fund requests.
- Respond promptly to treasury‑related queries from internal stakeholders.
- Participate in finance process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, or general accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/treasury systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of cash handling, bank reconciliation, and accounts receivable management.
- Familiarity with BIR and BSP regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Strong coordination and communication skills across departments.
