Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Treasury Officer to join our team in Parañaque, Metro Manila. This on-site role involves supporting financial operations across business units, including accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and treasury reporting.

You will manage cash flow forecasts, bond/bank guarantees, and assist with tenders and treasury administration. A related degree and Excel proficiency are essential, with prior treasury or AR/AP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Experience with remote teams and MS Teams.
• Treasury, AR and/or AP experience.
• Bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Jobpac ERP.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good time management and self-management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, credit notes, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain daily cash flow forecasts and prepare weekly debtor reports.
• Follow up overdue customer payments and monitor special payment terms.
• Support accounts payable approvals, internal fund transfers, and month-end reporting.
• Administer expense claims and manage staff account reconciliations.
• Manage bonds and bank guarantees, including applications, tracking, reconciliations, and overdue follow-ups.
• Prepare bond/BG reports, process related invoices, and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Support tenders and treasury administration, including bank forms, RFAs, and ad hoc support.

About The Role

We are looking for a Treasury Officer to join our growing team, based on-site full time in our office in Parañaque, Metro Manila. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support across all BMD business units by assisting with key financial operations, including accounts receivable, bank account reconciliation, contract security provision, and other Treasury functions and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, credit notes, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain daily cash flow forecasts and prepare weekly debtor reports
• Follow up overdue customer payments and monitor special payment terms
• Support accounts payable approvals, internal fund transfers, and month-end reporting
• Administer expense claims and manage staff account reconciliations
• Manage bonds and bank guarantees, including applications, tracking, reconciliations, and overdue follow-ups
• Prepare bond/BG reports, process related invoices, and perform monthly reconciliations
• Support tenders and treasury administration, including bank forms, RFAs, and ad hoc support

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Financial Management or a related field.
• Experience working with remote teams and using remote collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams)
• Prior experience in Treasury, Accounts Receivables, and/or Accounts Payables
• Bookkeeping experience can also be considered
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications specifically Excel
• Preferable experience in using Jobpac ERP System
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organization and planning skills, collaboration and partnering skills
• Good Time Management skills and ability to self-manage work deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
