Private Advertiser is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and financing activities. This role ensures sufficient funds for operations and strengthens treasury controls.
You will manage banking relationships, debt facilities, and treasury reporting, while supporting strategic planning and working capital optimization across the organization.
The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s treasury function, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, disbursements, banking relationships, and financing activities. The role ensures that the company maintains sufficient funds for operations, optimizes the use of available cash, manages debt and credit facilities, and strengthens internal treasury controls and compliance.
This position also supports financial planning and decision-making by providing treasury analysis, maintaining effective banking partnerships, and ensuring that treasury strategies, policies, and procedures align with operational and corporate objectives.
1. Cash Flow and Liquidity Management
Monitor and review daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational requirements.
Manage cash flow to optimize the use of available funds and support business continuity.
Develop short- and long-term cash planning strategies to meet funding requirements.
Provide visibility on cash availability, funding gaps, and liquidity risks.
Recommend actions to improve cash utilization and minimize funding constraints.
2. Treasury Operations and Disbursement Planning
Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash movements, fund positioning, and payment execution.
Develop and maintain short- and long-term payment plans for outstanding payables to suppliers, service providers, and banks.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury transactions and disbursements.
Coordinate with relevant departments to align payment schedules with available cash and funding priorities.
Monitor settlement activities and treasury-related transactions to ensure efficiency and control.
3. Banking and Financing Relationship Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks and other financial partners.
Negotiate banking rates, credit facilities, and treasury-related services to secure favorable terms.
Oversee corporate credit lines and debt facilities, including monitoring availability, usage, and obligations.
Ensure compliance with loan covenants, financing agreements, and other banking requirements.
Coordinate with financial institutions on treasury requirements, facilities, and related transactions.
4. Treasury Reporting and Strategic Support
Prepare and provide treasury reports, cash flow updates, and liquidity analyses for management review.
Support executive leadership in treasury-related reporting, planning, and compliance requirements.
Provide insights and recommendations on cash flow, debt management, banking arrangements, and treasury risks.
Assist in executive decision-making by providing accurate treasury data and financial funding analysis.
Support strategic initiatives related to treasury optimization, financing, and working capital management.
5. Stakeholder and Financial Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams on funding needs, payment schedules, and treasury requirements.
Act as the main contact for banking and treasury-related concerns.
Support negotiations with banks on facilities, services, and commercial terms.
Ensure timely communication on treasury matters, payment priorities, and financial commitments.
6. Policy Development & Governance
Define and approve policy frameworks aligned with business strategy.
Oversee policy development, review, and standardization.
Approve and enforce policy implementation across functions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Drive policy improvements and governance initiatives.
7. Performance Management
Define and approve KPIs aligned with business objectives.
Oversee and validate team performance results.
Approve performance ratings and evaluations.
Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of cash flow management, liquidity planning, treasury operations, banking relationships, debt facilities, and working capital management.
Experienced in managing daily cash positions, disbursement planning, debt obligations, and corporate credit facilities.
Familiarity with banking products, loan covenants, treasury controls, and financial risk management practices.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury compliance, and management support requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Experience with process improvement, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
