Job summary

BDO Unibank in Metro Manila is seeking a Marketing Trader to drive target volume and income through Treasury products, coordinating with portfolio desks to secure favorable market prices and servicing client treasury transactions.

The candidate will conduct marketing calls, identify potential clients, promote payroll and cash management solutions, and support MIS reporting to track performance and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder
• At least 2 years' experience in Treasury Marketing Sales
• Must be a SEC Licensed Salesman
• Treasury Certification Program (TCP) certified is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with different portfolio desks to get the best market price/rate for treasury deals
• Services client’s requirements for all treasury transactions and negotiates/executess deals as confirmed with client
• Conducts marketing calls to existing and potential clients to identify needs and build rapport
• Identifies potential clients within target market and cross-sell bank products and services such as payroll and cash management
• Coordinates with Account Officer and other units to service and optimize bank-client relationship
• Provides clients with market conditions and developments; monitors client volume and requirements; submits periodic performance reports

The Marketing Trader is responsible for generating target volume and income based on assigned market coverage and Treasury products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Trading

• Coordinates with different portfolio desks in getting the best market price/rate
• Services client’s requirements for all treasury transactions

2.2. Negotiates and executes deals as confirmed with client

• Encodes deal transactions in the designated system

B. Marketing

• Conducts marketing calls to existing and potential clients to establish rapport and identify client’s needs
• Identifies potential clients within target market
• Offers other bank products and services depending on their need, e.g. payroll, cash management
• Coordinates with Account Officer and other business units in servicing and optimizing bank-client relationship
• Provides client with recent market condition and developments
• Consistently be in the look‑out for client’s needs

C. MIS and Reporting

• Submits periodic performance reports to immediate supervisor
• Provides market feedback and account update to immediate supervisor
• Monitors client’s requirements and volume based on budget given
• Performs other function as maybe assigned from time to time

Qualifications:
