Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Andalusia, Alabama. The role entails 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, starting 09/28/2026.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience, with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS/AWHONN certifications. Travel housing and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state-licensed).
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS certifications with AWHONN preferred.
• 18+ months of recent acute care Labor & Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for mothers and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth and identify high-risk conditions.
• Educate and support families before, during, and after delivery.
