Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Transport & Customs Officer in Ortigas, Philippines. The role manages end-to-end shipping processes, ensures customs compliance, and maintains documentation across import/export activities.

The candidate will oversee warehouse areas, coordinate with logistics providers, and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure safe, timely deliveries. The ideal candidate holds an Industrial/Supply Chain master degree with 2+ years in a managerial role, plus strong SAP ERP (IM/WM)

Qualifications

• Industrial / Supply Chain master degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in a management position.
• Strong background in import/export procedures and rules (Philippines and other countries).
• Experience with ERP solutions (SAP preferred).
• Construction or Railway industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP (IM/WM) is beneficial.
• Specialist in Supply Chain with team spirit and reliability.
• Good communication, leadership and initiative skills.
• Problem solving, logistics and ERP SAP knowledge.
• Priority and risk management with an agile, inclusive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping coordination and ensure timely transportation.
• Ensure customs compliance and proper documentation for clearance.
• Maintain accurate transport and customs records and documents.
• Conduct risk assessments on shipments and routes.
• Communicate schedules and regulatory changes with stakeholders.
• Resolve delays and discrepancies with customs or partners.
• Generate reports on shipping activities and compliance.
• Uphold safety standards in transport and handling of cargo.
