Job summary

A renewable energy company in Quezon City is seeking a skilled Lineman to handle the installation and maintenance of electrical power lines. The ideal candidate will have Lineman Training NC II, strong technical skills, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Applicants must be comfortable working at heights and willing to travel anywhere in the Philippines. This role requires good communication skills, knowledge of tools, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Electrical Equipment Engineering or similar.
• No acrophobia or fear of heights required.
• Can drive manual/automatic vehicles and holds a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical power lines.
• Climb poles to repair and inspect power lines.
• Safely prepare work sites and operate tools around electrical lines.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment.
• Climb poles to repair overhead lines and inspect power lines for possible repair or replacement.
• Climb 120 meters Meteorological Mast.
• Maintain knowledge of and implement safety procedures at all times.
• Safely and accurately prepare work sites with warning signs and secure areas.
• Operate diggers, bucket trucks, and hand tools near and around electrical distribution lines.
• Install primary and secondary overhead and underground electrical systems.
• Conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.

Qualifications

• With Lineman Training NC II.
• Preferably graduate of electrical vocational course.
• With a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Electrical Equipment Engineering, Power Plant, Technical Services Contractor, or Manufacturing in a Lineman role.
• Has no acrophobia or fear of heights.
• With good communication skills.
• With good technical knowledge and skills.
• Knowledgeable with the basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledgeable in working at heights safety.
• Knowledgeable with the basic MS Office application.
• Can drive manual/automatic vehicle types and with a valid Driver’s License.
• Willing to be assigned to any point in the Philippines.
• Willing to work long hours during project execution.
