Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Makati, Manila seeks a Training Manager to lead the strategic growth of the training division. This role blends operational excellence with business acumen to drive revenue and customer success.

You will plan programs for all schemes, manage trainers, curate marketing content, and develop new products with SMEs. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for driving value for clients andBV’s global training portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Management or equivalent or Degree in Science or Engineering with Business Development for Technical Sales
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in manufacturing or TIC-related field
• Minimum 5 years as Lead Auditor and understand TIC Training needs
• Minimum 5 years as Trainer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service oriented and with good problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Honest and reliable, strong sense of work responsibility
• Keen to details and highly analytical
• Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Time Management
• Must be confident, highly efficient and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Plan training programs for all schemes and coordinate with trainers and back office—content, dates, venues
• Manage trainers’ competency and liaise with ITC
• Create marketing content for LinkedIn/website campaigns, supported by marketing executive
• Identify market trends for training and assist in developing new products with SMEs
• Build a team of non-exclusive trainers to back up internal trainers
• Work with enterprise and reseller managers to implement profitable reseller/enterprise strategy
• Cultivate relationships with industry bodies and education or training institutions
• Develop a strategic customer journey through digital transformation
• Develop on-demand training with external providers
• Manage customized training for clients preferring in-house delivery (program, plan, duration, price)
• Be responsible for pricing models and P&L for training business
• Ensure positive customer satisfaction through NPS/post-training feedback
• Manage certificate issuance and delivery
• Sales, margin, pipeline and revenue reporting
• Coach and train new Training team members
• Others assigned from time to time
