SYSTRA Philippines is seeking traffic engineering professionals to support public transport infrastructure projects. The role involves data collection, modeling, and reporting to improve transport networks in local and international settings.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in traffic engineering, experience with VISSIM/Synchro/HCS/SimTraffic, GIS proficiency, and strong analysis skills to influence design decisions and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning.
• Experience with traffic analysis software: VISSIM, SYNCHRO, HCS, or SimTraffic.
• Strong knowledge of traffic flow theory, signalization design, and roadway design.
• Proficiency in GIS and mapping software.
• Understanding of ADA compliance and safety analysis.
• Experience with data collection and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct on-site traffic surveys and interviews.
• Analyze data from statistics, surveys, and transport studies.
• Evaluate plans and propose changes per established engineering practices.
• Simulate traffic problems using computer models and find solutions.
• Forecast impacts of new developments on transport projects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for projects.
• Participate in site visits and meetings with clients.
