Job summary

Spruson & Ferguson seeks a Trademark Executive for our Philippines office to support trademark matters across international markets and various jurisdictions, ensuring timely handling of filings, correspondence, and prosecution processes.

You will manage portfolios, conduct clearance searches, respond to examination reports, coordinate filings across jurisdictions, and monitor crucial deadlines, benefiting from mentorship and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant trademark experience is highly advantageous.
• Able to manage high volumes of workload with good time management.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

• Support trademark matters across international markets and jurisdictions.
• Manage filings, correspondence, and prosecution processes timely and accurately.
• Oversee portfolio strategy, including oppositions and contentious matters in Asia.

As our newest Trademark Executive in our Philippines office, you will primarily support trademark matters across international markets and various jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate handling of filings, correspondence, and prosecution processes.

What You'll Do

• Portfolios management strategy, trademark prosecution matters, including oppositions and other contentious matters within the Asia jurisdiction.
• Conducting clearance searches, advising on filing strategies
• Responding to examination reports
• Coordinating filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitoring and tracking crucial deadlines

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar trademark role is highly advantageous.
• Able to handle high volumes of workload with good time management.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
