As a member of the OTC & LD Trade Validation – Credit team, you will be responsible for managing critical middle-office activities, specifically the trade validation of both Flow and Exotic Structured Credit products. This role serves as a vital link between the Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO), supporting Credit trading desks and acting as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries. You will ensure that all trades are validated, processed, and managed efficiently to support seamless trading operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Trade Validation & Management: Validate Flow and Exotic Credit products; oversee and manage all Front Office and Back Office system queues; and apply investigative techniques to resolve trade booking and flow issues.
- Stakeholder Liaison & Communication: Act as the key liaison for the trading desk to elevate and address booking issues; respond to and resolve queries from clients, sales, and other internal teams (Accounting, Technology, etc.).
- Operational Control & Problem Solving: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve trade-related breaks; manage all queries related to instrument static data; and maintain strong working relationships across global FO, BO, and operations teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives; help develop and adapt processes; and foster a collaborative working dynamic with local and regional management.
Required Education, Skills and Experience (must have)
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a Trade Support or a closely related middle-office role.
- Education: Master’s Degree or equivalent.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets and derivative products, specifically Swaps, Futures, and Options.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a high level of expertise in Excel; ability to quickly learn and adapt to various software programs.
- Strong attention to detail and rigor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle complex tasks.

- Product Specialization: Prior experience specifically dealing with Credit products, systems, and processes within a trade support function.
