Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience in an operations environment.
• Experience overseeing trade processing and settlement workflows.
• Knowledge of reconciliations, settlements, trade support, and fail management.
• Demonstrated risk and control awareness with ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills across written and verbal channels with stakeholders.
• Proven customer service skills and handling challenging situations professionally.
• Ability to plan resources and lead a team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to learn and apply new market practices and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end workflow for custody trades from capture through settlement.
• Monitor daily trade capture, settlement, and fail management activities to meet deadlines.
• Investigate settlement discrepancies and drive resolution using escalation channels.
• Respond to internal and external queries on trade status, settlement timelines, and market practices.
• Allocate work effectively through capacity planning, scheduling, and prioritization.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through training and succession planning.
• Communicate operational priorities, process updates, and regulatory or procedural changes to the team.
• Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures to reflect current policies and controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processing quality and client experience.
