Job summary

Thakral One Inc. in Makati, Philippines, is seeking a Trade Integration Analyst to analyse, define, and support integration across Trade Finance platforms and the banking technology ecosystem.

You will translate operational and product requirements into functional specifications, interface designs, data mappings, and test scenarios to enable reliable processing across trade systems, core banking, payments, compliance, and external networks.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in banking or financial services, with at least 3 years in Trade Finance analysis or integration.
• Experience with Trade Finance instruments: Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Documentary Collections.
• Experience producing BRD, functional specs, interface documents, data mappings, process models, and test artefacts.
• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in core banking transformation or multi-system integration programmes preferred.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, validate, and document business, functional, non-functional, and integration requirements.
• Map current-state and target-state processes for Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Open Account Trade and related activities.
• Define integration requirements between Trade Finance platforms and core banking, payments, treasury, GL, AML, and external networks.
• Prepare interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, validation rules, exception handling, and reconciliation requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, vendors, operations, product, compliance, finance, and testing teams to validate designs.
• Develop functional, integration, system, and user acceptance test scenarios and support test execution, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
• Validate end-to-end transaction and message flows, including accounting entries, charges, settlement, status updates, and exception processing.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, design walkthroughs, fit-gap sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Maintain requirements traceability, decisions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and interface documentation.
• Support data migration, implementation readiness, cutover, post-go-live stabilization, and knowledge transfer.
