Job summary

The Rise School of Denver is an inclusive, nonprofit early care and education center that serves young children with and without developmental delays and disabilities. We are seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher to join our passionate team beginning August 5, 2024.

The assistant will support the lead teacher, collaborate with therapists, participate in planning, and help create equitable, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all children.

Qualifications

• High School or GED completion.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE/ECSE) is a plus.
• Experience working with young children with and without developmental delays and/or disabilities is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports lead teacher with planning and curriculum adaptation.
• Assists with daily care, diapering, feeding, and supervision.
• Engages families and participates in staff meetings and collaboration with therapists.
