Job Description

• Lead thermal design and analysis for electronic products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop effective cooling solutions for both forced air and natural convection systems.
• Create and refine 3D CAD models (Creo) for thermal simulations.
• Perform thermal simulations using FloTHERM and apply heat transfer principles to solve complex challenges.
• Conduct lab testing to measure airflow, thermal, and acoustic performance.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports based on simulations and test results.
• Support thermal validation testing and troubleshoot issues from simulation to real-world application.
• Build and maintain a thermal component library (e.g., fans, heat sinks, connectors, interface materials).
• Deliver simulation and validation insights to project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions and contribute to proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product, Electrical, Firmware, and Mechanical Engineering.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in thermal or mechanical engineering
• Strong background in thermal analysis and thermally constrained design (simulation experience preferred)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred)
• Solid understanding of heat transfer fundamentals and physics
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to work across teams
• Self‑driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies
