Job Description
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for industrial applications.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Maintain detailed documentation of designs, processes, and test results.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve designs and processes for efficiency and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience in Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) design is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with simulation and calculation tools such as Simplis/Simetrix, Mathcad; familiarity with PLECS or PSIM is a plus.
- Strong research and development background, with knowledge of SMPS topologies and failure analysis.
- Exposure to liquid‑cooled or low‑profile conduction‑cooled design environments is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi‑cultural, multi‑disciplinary team.
- Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.
