About the role

Micromatic Industries Inc. is seeking a Testing and Commissioning Electrical Engineer to join our team in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our engineering department, where you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems, equipment and installations meet the highest standards of safety, functionality and performance before they are handed over to clients. You will play a critical part in our quality assurance processes, directly contributing to the success and reputation of our projects. Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive testing and commissioning of electrical systems, equipment and installations in accordance with industry standards and client specifications
• Developing and implementing detailed testing plans, procedures and protocols to ensure all systems function correctly before handover
• Performing functional testing, safety testing and performance validation on electrical components and integrated systems
• Documenting all testing activities, results and findings in detailed reports and commissioning records
• Identifying defects, faults and non-conformities during testing and liaising with design and construction teams to ensure remedial actions are completed
• Coordinating with project teams, clients and stakeholders to schedule and execute commissioning activities
• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations and safety standards throughout the testing and commissioning process

• Conducting site inspections and witnessing tests to verify quality and compliance

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (REE, RME)
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations relevant to the Philippines and international best practices
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, insulation testers.
• Excellent understanding of electrical system design, control systems and power distribution
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining comprehensive, accurate documentation
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work methodically through complex technical challenges
• Professional communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with project teams.
• At least 1 year of experience in testing and commissioning is an advantage.
