Job summary

Teradyne in the Philippines is seeking an electronics technician to perform system and board assembly and functionality testing. The role involves first-level maintenance and instrument isolation.

You will work with test and manufacturing engineers to implement process requirements, ECNs, and quality improvements, and you may assist with new product transfers. English communication is required. Local candidates only; relocation and visa sponsorship are not provided.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• ETS800 Experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Familiar and can execute System level Assembly, Board level assembly and perform Functionality testing.
• First level system maintenance or instrument isolation.
• Familiar with Assembly and Disassembly of Instruments/boards.
• Responsible for debugging and quality repair of defective boards.
• Work with Test Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer on process requirements, ECNs, quality improvements, reliability issues, and implementation of ECNs.
• May support new product transfers.
• Remote support to other OPS site/regions.
