Job summary

ams Asia Inc. is seeking an Associate Manager, Test Product Engineering in Calamba City, Philippines. You will lead wafersort engineering to meet KPI targets and collaborate across functions to resolve complex test yield and quality issues.

The role requires strong leadership and hands-on process optimization. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in semiconductor test product engineering, with experience in supporting volume wafersort production and mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing in a Test Product engineering role or equivalent position.
• Experience supporting volume production for wafersort.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage wafersort engineering team to achieve Quality, Manufacturing and Yield KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross functional team to drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex test yield and quality issues.
• Optimize test processes to improve yield, throughput, uptime, and cost of test.
• Mentor and develop technician and engineering skills and talent.
• Support customer and internal audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.
• Implement data driven methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and prevent escapes.
