Job summary

ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks a seasoned Lead Wafersort Engineer to drive quality, yield and KPI attainment. You will lead the wafersort team, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and mentor technicians and engineers to grow capabilities.

In this role you will perform root-cause analysis, optimize test processes, support audits with technical documentation, and apply data-driven methods to identify improvements and prevent escapes in volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing in a test/product engineering role.
• 1-3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting volume production for wafersort.

Responsibilities

• Lead wafersort engineering team to achieve Quality, Manufacturing and Yield KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross functional team to drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex test yield and quality issues.
• Optimize test processes to improve yield, throughput, uptime, and cost of test.
• Mentor and develop technician and engineering skills and talent.
• Support customer and internal audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.
