Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking an engineer to sustain a diverse product portfolio and drive improvements in test efficiency and yield. The role focuses on testing methodologies, hardware qualification, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities include initiating cost reduction and yield improvements, ensuring zero-defect quality, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to qualify and release new products to production.

Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor testing methodologies and test flows.
• Broad product knowledge across automotive, microcontrollers, MEMS and sensors.
• Hands-on tester equipment experience (SPEA, Microtest, Advantest, Diamond-X).
• Experience with semiconductor handler operations (Instrip, gravity-fed, pick and place).
• Strong data analytics and statistical analysis skills.
• Experience in failure analysis and device characterization.

Responsibilities

• Initiate COST Reduction and/or SFV and Yield improvement activities to maintain %SFV to WWS performance aligned w/ CORA.
• QUALITY - oriented, possesses Zero Defect mindset.
• SERVICE - Drive capacity improvement projects like test time reduction and test flow optimization; drive hold inventory, rate and cycle time improvements.
• Establish regular communication with Division and Internal stakeholders.
• Perform product/test qualification and release to production of new products.
