Job summary

SID Global is seeking a QA/Test Engineer to oversee the testing lifecycle of applications within its domain and integrated systems. You will drive test execution, implement test strategies, and ensure high-quality deliverables through defect tracking and resolution.

The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing, and the ability to collaborate with development, BA, and PM teams to deliver on commitments.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test cases from requirements
• Oversee test progress and defects during testing
• Contribute to strategies for functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Monitor progress and ensure timely milestones
• Identify, document, and track defects with tools
• Provide troubleshooting for complex testing scenarios
• Execute test cases (Functional, SIT, Regression) and participate in UAT
• Collaborate with Development, BA, and PM to resolve issues
• Ensure SDLC test processes are followed
• Prioritize testing activities to meet commitments and coordinate with PMs/Leads
• Lead and coordinate test execution across teams

Overview

Responsible for overseeing the testing lifecycle of the applications within its domain and integrated applications. This role involves test execution, implementing test strategies, managing test cadence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high quality deliverables through defect tracking and resolution. Should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with various testing methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and comprehensive test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Oversee and manage test progress and defects raised during testing phase
• Contribute in test strategies and scope for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Monitor test progress and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex testing scenarios.
• Execute all the test cases (Functional, SIT and Regression), also participate in the UAT.
• Collaborate with development, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Ensure Test Process are followed according to the SDLC and Test Process Standard of the company.
• Ability to prioritizes testing activities to ensure delivery of commitments Can collaborates with Project Managers, ITSD Unit Heads, Development Leads across Unit/Project team to ensure quality delivery and gather resource demands.
• Can lead and coordinate test execution activities across multiple teams.
