Job summary

STMicroelectronics in the Philippines seeks a Test Equipment Engineer to install, ramp up machines, and drive reliable operation across the manufacturing line. You will create and maintain equipment documents (FMEA, work instructions), and support MTBI analysis and spare parts management.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and 5 years' experience in semiconductor test equipment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Test Equipment Engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
• Good presentation skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn across different manufacturing areas; basic machine programming capability.

Responsibilities

• Machine installation and ramp up.
• Create and maintain Equipment Documents (FMEA, PM Work Instruction, Machine Work Instruction).
• Drive OEE improvements and stability.
• Perform MTBI (Mean Time Between Interruption) analysis and improvements.
• Manage spare parts enrollment and maintenance.
• Possess good knowledge of SPEA machines when possible.
• Gather and monitor Jam and MUBA data.
• Monitor site parallelism.

YOUR ROLE

• Machine installation and ramp up
• Creation and maintenance of Equipment Documents such as FMEA, PM Work Instruction, Machine Work Instruction
• OEE improvement and Stability
• MTBI (Mean Time Before Assist) Analysis and Improvement
• Spare parts Enrollment and maintenance
• Preferably has a very good knowledge of SPEA Machines
• Handler Jam and MUBA data gathering and monitoring
• Monitoring of Site Parallelism

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Power Bi
