Job summary

Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI Global) in Laguna, Philippines, seeks a Test Equipment Engineer to develop, qualify, and maintain production test equipment and hardware used in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will troubleshoot equipment issues, support tester installation, calibration, validation and production release, and drive improvements in test reliability, throughput, and utilization across Test, Process, Product, Quality, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor or Power Module OSAT.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and automated test systems.
• Familiarity with data analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Exposure to or knowledge of: Automated Test Equipment (ATE), handlers, or power module test systems.
• Yield improvement, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Semiconductor test, OSAT, or electronics manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and maintain production test equipment and hardware.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and hardware issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support tester installation, calibration, validation, qualification, and production release.
• Drive improvements in test reliability, throughput, and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Test, Process, Product, Quality, and Operations teams to support NPI activities and volume production.
• Implement preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
