Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Test Engineer to help ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of our products through testing and validation activities. In a fast-paced engineering environment, you will work with cutting-edge technologies.

You will design test strategies, build fixtures, perform functional, performance, and reliability tests, and collaborate with design and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, while continually improving testing methodologies and maintaining

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing in product development.
Strong knowledge of test development including plans, cases, and scripts.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages like Python, Selenium, or C#.
Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems (60V-480V).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test strategies to verify product quality.
Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for verification.
Design and build test fixtures for accurate, repeatable tests.
Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Analyze results and report issues with recommendations.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
Improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Maintain accurate test documentation and records.
Support product development throughout the lifecycle to ensure quality.
