Job summary

STMicroelectronics in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned engineer to act as the primary interface between ST Divisions and OSAT subcontractors. The role focuses on technical support for Philippine OSATs and driving Final Test yield improvements to meet KPI targets.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in Test/Finishing or Assembly processes, plus hands-on experience with IC testers and STDF/test data logs. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and business English is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in any Engineering discipline (excluding Civil Eng).
• 5+ years in Test and Finishing or Assembly processes; IC testing experience preferred.
• Experience with testers/handlers used for IC testing.
• Knowledge of STDF and test data logs.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; business English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary interface between ST divisions and subcontractor to address technical issues and inquiries from all GOBM stakeholders (external customer, Division/Groups, ST BEMT plants, internal support organization and OSAT).
• Provide technical support for Philippine OSATs and drive Final Test yield improvement to meet GOBM KPI target.
• Support customer on-site audits and drive technical resolution in OSAT.
• Drive subcontractor improvements on technical KPI and initiatives such as PCN, QUAL pass, successful evaluations, and deployment.
• Train subcontractor on ST’s technical requirements & tools.
• Interface between OSAT and Division on product/development/NPI, supports technical review and ramp up.

YOUR ROLE

• Primary interface between ST Divisions and subcontractor (OSAT) to ensure timely respond on technical issues & enquiry from all GOBM stakeholders (external customer, Division / Groups, ST BEMT plants, internal support organization and OSAT).
• Technical support for Philippine OSATs and responsible to drive Final Test yield improvement of OSAT to meet GOBM KPI target.
• Support customer on-site audit and drive technical resolution in OSAT.
• Accountable to drive subcontractor for continuous improvement on technical KPI and initiatives such as PCN, QUAL pass, successful evaluations, and deployment.
• Trains subcontractor on ST’s technical requirement & tools.
• Interface between OSAT and Division on product / package development / NPI, supports technical review and production ramp up.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• BS in any Engineering course except Civil Eng'g
• At least 5 years of experience in Test and Finishing process, Assembly process background is an advantage
• With experience on various testers and handlers used for IC testing
• Knowledge on STDF and Test data log
• Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• English business proficiency
