Job summary

Xerox Holdings Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design and execute automated and manual tests validating firmware, embedded applications, and related solutions for our embedded systems.

You will collaborate with test architects and developers, create test plans, maintain test cases, and continuously improve coverage through automation. A bachelor’s in engineering or computer science plus hands-on testing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
• Experience in developing and executing manual and/or automated tests.
• Familiarity with the full product development lifecycle.
• Bonus points for printer development or embedded systems experience.

• Collaborate with test architects, project managers, developers, and designers to understand firmware and hardware features and how customers use them.
• Design and implement functional, performance, reliability, security, and user-centric tests.
• Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Create, review, and maintain test cases and documentation.
• Execute manual and automated test cases and track issues through resolution.
• Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency through automation and innovative solutions.

Role Overview

In this role, you’ll design and execute both automated and manual tests to validate firmware, embedded applications, certifications, and related solutions. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of the products our customers use every day.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with test architects, project managers, developers, and designers to understand firmware and hardware features and how customers use them.

• Programming or scripting skills are a strong advantage.
