Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field.

Job description

Manage and execute manual and automated testing activities, ensuring all deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze and document testing requirements, ensuring clarity and coverage for both manual and automated testing
• Drive the end-to-end testing process through the development and execution of comprehensive test scenarios (manual and automated)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope, strategies, timelines, and automation opportunities
• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases and automated test scripts
• Design and implement automation frameworks and reusable test components where applicable
• Identify, analyze, and report defects/bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
• Log and track defects using JIRA (or similar tools) and ensure proper monitoring until closure
• Ensure all artifacts (Test cases, scripts, reports) are validated, well-documented, version-controlled, and archived
• Conduct daily smoke and/or automated sanity testing to validate environment readiness before test execution
• Perform root cause analysis and basic troubleshooting before escalating issues to developers
• Develop and maintain regression automation suites to ensure consistent quality across releases
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster feedback cycles
• Monitor automation execution results, analyze failures, and update scripts as needed
• Escalate critical issues and blockers to the Test Leads and support timely resolution
• Communicate new functionalities, changes, and issues to the team to align expected results and testing coverage
• Keep the Test Lead and stakeholders informed about testing progress, risks, and delays
• Perform retesting and regression testing (manual and automated) for resolved issues
• Ensure test coverage meets quality standards and identifies gaps in both manual and automated testing
• Optimize test execution through automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Be responsible for handling all assigned test scenarios and automation task end-to-end within defined SLAs

Education

Graduate of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or any related course

Work Experience

Software testing experience with at least 8 years end-to-end projects delivered

Knowledge Area

Have experience in software testing, SDLC, testing methodologies and automation testing.
