Job summary

SID Global Solutions is seeking an experienced software tester to manage and execute manual and automated testing activities. The role requires ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards, with a focus on end-to-end testing across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of end-to-end testing experience and strong automation testing capabilities, plus familiarity with JIRA and modern testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or any related course.
• Software testing experience with at least 8 years end-to-end projects delivered.
• Experience in software testing, SDLC, testing methodologies and automation testing.

Responsibilities

• Understands, analyzes, and documents testing requirements for manual and automated testing.
• Drives end-to-end testing through development and execution of comprehensive test scenarios (manual and automated).
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define testing scope, strategies, timelines, and automation opportunities.
• Develops, maintains, and executes detailed manual test cases and automated test scripts.
• Designs and implements automation frameworks and reusable test components where applicable.
• Identifies, analyzes, and reports defects/bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Logs defects using JIRA (or similar tools) and tracks until closure.
• Ensures artifacts are validated, documented, version-controlled, and archived.
• Develops and maintains regression automation suites for consistent quality across releases.
• Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Understands, analyzes, and documents testing requirements, ensuring clarity and coverage for both manual and automated testing

• Drives the end-to-end testing process through the development and execution of comprehensive test scenarios (manual and automated)

• Collaborates with stakeholders to define testing scope, strategies, timelines, and automation opportunities

• Develops, maintains, and executes detailed manual test cases and automated test scripts

• Designs and implements automation frameworks and reusable test components where applicable

• Identifies, analyzes, and reports defects/bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence

• Logs and tracks defects using JIRA (or similar tools) and ensures proper monitoring until closure

• Ensures all artifacts (Test cases, scripts, reports) are validated, well-documented, version-controlled, and archived

• Develops and maintains regression automation suites to ensure consistent quality across releases
