Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join a global technology team responsible for delivering high-quality solutions. You will work across the software lifecycle to analyze requirements, design test strategies, create test cases and execute manual and automated testing.

The role involves testing SaaS platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft 365, internal applications, and data migration projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software testing with at least 1 year in test automation.
• Strong manual testing, test design, planning and execution.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, JIRA Xray, data migration testing is advantageous.

Job description

Join a global technology team responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that support Macquarie Capital users across multiple business applications, including SaaS platforms, in-house systems, and data migration initiatives. Working closely with teams in Manila, Sydney, and Hyderabad, you will help drive software quality through a combination of test automation, manual testing, and continuous improvement practices to ensure reliable and efficient delivery.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications used by a global Macquarie Capital audience. Working across the software development lifecycle, you will analyse requirements, design test strategies, create test cases, and execute both manual and automated testing activities.

You will support testing across SaaS platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365, internally developed applications, and data migration projects. Collaborating closely with business analysts, developers, and testing teams across multiple locations, you will identify risks, manage defects, and ensure appropriate test coverage for each release. You will also contribute to automation initiatives, improve testing processes, and help deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What You Offer

• 2+ years of software testing experience, including at least 1 year of test automation experience.
• Strong experience in manual testing, test design, test planning, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Robot Framework, Python, REST APIs, or similar technologies.
• Experience in SQL and/or SOQL skills in data validation and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, JIRA Xray, data migration testing, or financial services is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies and environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial.
• Familiarity and interest in leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to enhance test automation, debugging, and overall engineering productivity is a plus.
