Job summary

Asurion in Cebu City seeks a hands-on technician to perform regular assembly, testing and preventive maintenance of production equipment, following PM specifications and related WI/JA documents. You will ensure parameter checks, lubrication, 5S cleanliness, and participate in UAT and calibration activities.

You will provide 24x7 first level support to troubleshoot process issues, coordinate with internal teams for critical requirements, and assist with machine installations and new software

• Provide 24x7 first level support to troubleshoot equipment processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machine and area of responsibility in a clean, safe, and organized state.
• Coordinate with internal customers in OQE and fabrication shop for critical requirements.
• Support machine installations and new software deployment requiring jigs/toolings and other initiatives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job description

Performs regular assembly (fabrication, phone jigs), test (SW, ESD & Instrumentation calibration) and preventive maintenance of company equipment including 5S, lubrication, UAT etc. Follows standard practices and procedures such as those defined in the PM specification, calibration specification, WI, JA, FMEA, OCAP etc.

Perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs, and replacements. Monitors equipment performance such as overall equipment efficiency, UPH, availability and yield. Ensures machine and its' input parameters are working within defined specifications.

Provide 24x7 first level support to troubleshoot equipment process. Solves simple problems within area of responsibility and execute OCAP.

Maintaining the machine and area of responsibility clean, safe, and organized. Performs scrap disposal including sorting and documentation.

Conducts offline repairs for usable parts.

Provides OQE updates on general status of machine, activities, spares, etc.

Coordinates with internal customers in OQE and fabrication shop for critical requirements

Supports machine installations, new software deployment, new product introduction requiring jigs/toolings and other critical initiatives.

Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
