Job summary

Payments Network of the Philippines (formerly BancNet, Inc.) is seeking a Test Analyst to support the Test Manager in delivering high-quality software and certification testing for BancNet systems and participant certification.

You will focus on hands-on test design, execution, and defect management while ensuring proper use of environments, tools, and automation. As a senior member of the testing team, you will provide technical guidance and mentor junior testers.

Qualifications

• ISTQB - Certified Test Foundation Level required; Advanced or Automation certifications an advantage
• Knowledge on SDLC, Defect Management
• Exposure to financial or payments system
• Certification Testing, UAT, SIT, Regression, Bug Life Cycle, Test Processes and Workflow; Test case design, execution, defect lifecycle management, test automation support, environment validation, and reporting
• Business Orientation, Execution Excellence Self Development, Ethical Propensity, Customer Orientation, Learning Agility, Resiliency, Collaboration and Innovative Thinking

Responsibilities

• The Test Analyst supports the Test Manager in delivering high-quality software and certification testing for BancNet systems and participant certification. The role focuses on hands-on test design, execution, and defect management, while also ensuring correct use of environments, tools, and automation. As a senior member of the testing team, the position provides technical expertise, peer mentoring, and knowledge sharing, acting as a bridge between junior testers and Test Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business Technology
• With at least 3 years of experience in software testing, including test design, execution, and defect management.
• Experience in financial systems or payment networks preferred.
• ISTQB - Certified Test Foundation Level required; Advanced or Automation certifications an advantage
• Knowledge on SDLC, Defect Management
