Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for its Pets business segment in Manila, Philippines. The role oversees sales, marketing plans, and promotional projects for assigned products, adhering to compliance policies, as a fixed-term reliever through March 2027.

The candidate should have veterinary/animal science background, sales exposure in a multinational environment is a plus, and be able to drive locally with a valid license.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Veterinary Medicine and/or Animal Science is an advantage.
• Sales experience in Human Pharma/Animal Health industry preferred but not required.
• Knowledge/Experience in Pets business segment is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, geographically flexible.
• Knows how to drive a Manual Transmission vehicle and possesses a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Optimize calls to customers and execute sales business plans.
• Achieve sales targets for assigned products.
• Promote the company, assigned products, and services.
• Coordinate with supervisor and stakeholders to align activities with objectives.
• Maintain customer profiles, marketing plans, and rolling sales forecasts.
• Manage programs/budgets to stay within standards.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Document customer product complaints and facilitate disposal of defective products when appropriate.
• Monitor local market conditions for business impact.
• Utilize CRM tools to plan activities and report samples.
