Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Modeler to join the Project Delivery Team supporting Advanced Facilities projects.

You will develop and maintain detailed BIM models for telecommunications and low-voltage systems, ensuring designs meet project requirements, BIM standards, and quality expectations. Collaborate with engineers, designers and stakeholders throughout the design process, update models with revisions, perform quality checks, and manage content,

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
Understanding of telecommunications and low-voltage system design principles.
Ability to translate schematics into accurate 3D BIM models.
Experience with model coordination tools and CDE.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed 3D BIM models for telecommunications, communications, and low-voltage systems.
Create and manage BIM content, parameters, and embedded technical data within project models.
Ensure models meet required Levels of Development (LOD) and BIM standards.
Conduct model quality checks and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes and space conflicts.
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders throughout the design process.
Update models based on design revisions, project changes, and client feedback.
Support model coordination activities and contribute to project delivery objectives.
